We have already brought our fairy portrait magic to over 120 little girls in just a little over a year and a half, now we want to bring the magic to your little girl!
Session Q & A
Q: What do I need to bring?
A: nothing really, unless you want to. Some of our clients will come dressed, but most of our clients take advantage of wearing one of our many fairy dresses.
Q: Can I bring props?
A: Most of our Clients don't because these are themed based and I have all the props - however, we did recently get in doll wings so if your child has a favorite doll, an American doll or a favorite teddy we thing that it would make for an awesome portrait!
Q: What is the Tea and Tea Treats?
A: The tea is Kool-Aid and the treats vary but usually consist of pretzels and caramel or white chocolate. Please tell us if your child is allergic to anything so we can make sure that we stay away from it.
Q: Do I view the pictures at the session?
A: No, these are high edit and high production portraits and when you go home my work just begins.
Q: When do I get to see the pictures?
A: In about a week. Before you leave we will set up your View and Order Appointment. This is the time you will come back to see the poses and to pick out what you want.
Q: Can I view my portraits online?
A: No, we are strictly a View and Order Appointment Studio when it comes to our fairy portraits. They require a lot more prep time than our other types of photography and we don't want to cut corners on them.
Q: What is a sneak peek?
A: We will do a sneak peek on facebook for our facebook fans. These are low resolution watermarked images intended for the web and not print quality. We trust that our clients will not make us look bad by printing these low quality pictures. We are ok if you tag them or share them on your facebook page - however we ask that you please not cut our logo out or tamper with it in anyway.
Q: Who should come to the View and Order Appointment?
A: Any one who is going to play a part in the decision making process. Because of time constraints, we can only do one View and Order Appointment per session. Please make sure that you schedule with all important parties in mind.
Q: Do I have to order at the View and Order Appointment?
A: Yes, this is the time set aside for the ordering process. To keep our studio running smoothly we do not hold orders open past the View and Order Appointment.
Q: Do I have to pay for everything at the View and Order?
A: We need half down at your view and order and the balance is due at pick up.
Q: All your packages have canvas prints included, why?
A: These are special portraits and to fully enjoy their beauty they should be done on a medium befitting them. If you don't like canvas prints, you can substitute a normal print of the same size.
Q: You don't have any ala carte pricing.
A: These portraits are very time consuming and take multiple editing layers in multiple programs. They are not your typical portrait. Because of this, our prices are a little higher than our other more standard portraits and we need to maintain a certain minimum. We found that we can offer much more via packages than by just doing an ala carte list with a investment minimum like most other studios use.
Q: Why are packages split up by the pose? And what does that mean?
A: Each packages has a pose amount. That is how many poses you have to choose your prints from. These are pose based because the amount of the package covers the editing on that number of poses - not on the number of sheets the package includes.
Q: How are the poses chosen?
A: you choose the poses included in your package.
Q: These portraits are more expensive than other's I've had done. Why?
A: These are specialty portraits. They require a tremendous amount of time in set up, edit and in pre-edit processing. Once you have chosen your poses those poses are then again processed using a variety of programs to get the desired effect. They are one of a kind works of art that your will cherish forever.
Q: What if I want another pose but I don't want to move into a larger package?
A: You can add a pose (and with it you get the file and one gift print) for $50 per addition.
Q: What is a gift print?
A: A gift print is an 8x10 or (2) 5x7 prints of the same pose or (8) wallets of the same pose.
Q:My package says it comes with files - does that mean I get all the files?
A. No, you get your pose files. Your Pose files are the files that were edited to fulfill your package. I want you to have them so that later you can do other things with them if you wish - whether it be make more prints or make gifts and cards. These portraits are too precious to keep stored in a drawer.
Q: What is a file? And what do you mean downloadable.
A. A file is a high resolution file of that pose with permission to print at the lab of your choice. The file is good up to an 8x10 print size. You get a link to where you can go download your file.
Q: What if I want all of the poses but I don't want prints?
A: There is a file only option.
Q: What if I want a bigger canvas than my package offers but I don't need a bigger package?
A: You can upgrade your canvas to the next size up for $50.
Q: What happens to the poses I don't choose?
A:We hold poses and files for 30 days before we archive them and then for another 30 days before they are deleted.
Q: What if I want to reorder more?
A:If it is within the first 30 days you can do so at set prices. After the 30 days there is an archival retrieval fee of $50 and after 60 days they can no longer be retrieved.
